The hosts have been excellent this season, and they are 16 points clear on the top of the table, while there are six more rounds to go. It means that the potential victory from this clash can secure them the title. The rival couldn’t be better, as Aalesund is coming to town. Bodo/Glimt celebrated four times in the last five rounds, and they suffered just one defeat so far in the campaign. Kasper Junker and the lads are the most efficient side in Eliteserien as they scored 76 goals. On the other hand, the home side’s defense is one of the tightest in the league. Bodo/Glimt’s home record is impeccable, as they celebrated on all 11 home clashes.
The visitors are in the opposite position. They are hammered to the bottom of the table without many chances to survive in the Norwegian top flight. Lars Nilsen’s side managed to break their terrible streak of nine defeats with a victory, but it still leaves them ten points away from the playout spot. That win was their second in the campaign, and the away side is one of the least efficient in the competition. Their defense is the worst in the league, and Aalesund concedes two goals per game on average.
